Information for Entrepreneurs considering submitting investment opportunities to the OSA

OSA investors are looking for ventures with sustainable products/services, with a focus on companies located in Oregon or SW Washington

OSA will look at opportunities in emerging “sustainable” industries, including such areas as clean energy, green building, pollution prevention and treatment, etc. Opportunities should have a strong growth and profit potential, with a clear exit strategy for investors. Early stage deals with potential for long-term capital appreciation (3-7 years) are preferred. Ideally, companies should be located in Oregon or SW Washington, but the group is open to looking at good investment opportunities from outside the area.

The $100 submission fee OSA normally charges to entrepreneurs is currently being waived. However, if you are submitting a clean energy related opportunity that you would also like present at a Northwest Energy Angels (NWEA) meeting, the submission should be made directly to the NWEA and the $100 fee will need to be paid as part of the submission process. You can go to www.nwenergyangels.net to submit your business plan to the NWEA. Otherwise, use the Submit Business Plan button on this website to submit only to the OSA. OSA members attend NWEA meetings and can review deals submitted to the NWEA, so it is not necessary to submit to both groups.
