Individuals who wish to become members of the Oregon Sustainability Angels (OSA) must satisfy several specific criteria.

Member Criteria

  • Be certified as an accredited investor under Securities and Exchange Commission Regulation D, Rule 501. This states that an investor is a person who has a net worth in excess of $1 million, either alone or in combination with their spouse, or who has in each of the past two years had an annual income greater than $200,000, or more than $300,000 in combination with their spouse.
  • Be currently looking to invest in the next 12 months

OSA also welcomes guests who are interested in joining the group to its programs. They, too, must meet certain criteria. They must:

  • Be invited by a current OSA member
  • Be an accredited investor
  • Have not attended a OSA meeting previously and have not filled out a profile and accreditation forms
Service providers are welcome, if they meet the above criteria and agree to not discuss their services at OSA events.

Definition of investment

OSA defines “investment” as a direct investment in a startup company of at least $25,000 in cash. (Services do not count.) This equity can be from one’s own money, or from money one professionally manages for other people, or as part of an investor syndicate.

Apply for OSA Membership

Membership in OSA is $750/year and includes membership in Northwest Energy Angels (NWEA). If you are not currently an Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) member, OSA membership will automatically include membership in OEN.

To apply for membership in the Oregon Sustainability Angels, contact Lisa Adatto at [email protected] or (503) 641-0990.

Note: If you are already a member of the Portland Angel Network (PAN) or Women’s Investment Network (WIN) and would like to join OSA, your existing membership will be credited toward your OSA membership.
